Located east of the 110 freeway and just north of the Staples Center this 6.3-acre mixed-use development by the Shanghai-based developer Greenland Group will become the location for a new 19-story hotel and residential building (consisting of a 6-story podium and 38-story tower). The podium will house parking, retail and an amenity deck for the residents of the tower.
The project broke ground in February of 2014, with an anticipated construction duration of 18-24 months. Mr. San Gemino is working with the commercial office building studio on the development of the 38-story residential tower and podium. His responsibilities include the managing of other team members, development/coordination of building systems (vertical transportation, stairs, core, etc...), and Revit model maintenance.
